I'm looking for the best book or books on Life Coaching and on Leadership coaching.?

Posted by admin | life coaching, | Tuesday 7 April 2009 10:27 am

I have many coaching books but I don't want to waste my time reading things that are useless. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Jeff Auerbach has a good one on Personal and Executive Coaching that is clear and easy to read.

This life coaching thing, is it a pyramid scam?

Posted by admin | life coaching, | Sunday 5 April 2009 8:51 am

The more research I do in life coaching it just seems like, people go to a life coach, then become a life coach, and it continues like that. I am interested in going to see someone, if for nothing else but to be held accountable for my goals, but I don't want to end up in a cult.

Hi -
There are GREAT life coaches out there who aren't interested in selling you their products. The web is a great place to look. A lot of coaching is done via the phone so you can look for a coach anywhere your phone will allow.
I am a coach in Seattle and have both phone and in office clients, both are equally as effective.
However, I realize that there are so many it may be hard to know where to start.
I have my Master's Degree in Counseling and chose to do Life Coaching because I found it more personally rewarding. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

Posted by admin | life coaching, | Friday 3 April 2009 9:55 am

I'm doing a Life Coaching Course (New Insights) & so offering free session in exchange for feedback, interested? Session will be completed over telephone. It will involve looking at the aspects of your life wheel and picking 1-2 area's in which to set goals. As part of the course I have to submit feedback from 15 session 1's so need just about 5 more. I also had to find 2-3 clients for 13 sessions but have them inplace already. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I might consider it - but you'd be doing someone with a lot of experience in counselling. But the phone calls would be free - to a landline anyway. I pay for all inclusive calls. Up to an hour free to any number starting in 01 or 02 or an EU number, Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada! lol

My email address is on my website.

Lifecoaching “Get Off the Carousel”

Posted by admin | life coaching, | Wednesday 1 April 2009 4:44 pm

I am doing Life Coaching in this video. I can compare life as a carousel ride. Some of us just stay on the ride. We just go up and down and round and round. We need to get off the carousel! Sometimes, we need to be kicked off. I am talking about the people who complain about their job or relationship and they don„t do anything about it. You can give them advice until you are blue in the face. I recently talked to a woman who was negative and unhappy. She tells herself she is old …

Life coaching books, has anyone ever taken life coaching and did it help?

Posted by admin | life coaching, | Wednesday 1 April 2009 12:37 pm

Ive taken to reading self help books by different people such as Paulo Coelho, Fiona Harrld and Paul Mckenna. And they seem to have helped me to think differently about my life and take on a different perspective as well as gain so much confidence. Here in England they dont encourage building your self up.

Save your money. I have spent thousands, attended a McKenna 7 day course and nothing works for more than a few days but it does make lots of cash for the McKennas of this world
