Do you like your job? Or do you know a personal trainer that likes their job? Im going through NASM to get certified as a personal trainer. I love health and fitness and even want to get certified as a nutritionist/dietician as well, and eventually be a wellness coach. I would absolutely love to help people obtain their goals with the knowledge I have learned and will learn. I have a few questions though…
- Would I be more successful with a degree…or can I work my way up being certified only?? Can I make a stable career with only a certificate?
- About how long does it take, or how long do they give you to get certified?
- Was it easy for you to get a job right away after being certified?

I guess thats all for now but any other information would be great =)

I’m not a personal trainer, but I do have a suggestion: check out the CrossFit program. I’ve been doing CrossFit off and on for a couple of years now, and, even doing it off and on, the results are impressive. Folks who do it consistently report truly amazing results. It’s not magic - it’s just hard core.

And CrossFit affiliates seem to be pretty successful, so if you can get certified and get hooked up with a local CrossFit affiliate, you could make some money.
